Placer SPCA Barktoberfest in Roseville

One of the most anticipated Placer SPCA events each year is Barktoberfest in Roseville. 2016 will be the sixth straight year for the event with all proceeds going toward Placer SPCA animal shelter in Roseville.

The mission of Placer SPCA is to enhance the lives of companion animals and support the human-animal bond.

If you can’t attend Barktoberfest in Roseville there are several opportunities to volunteer or donate to help the Placer SPCA cause.

Placer SPCA Barktoberfest Details:

The event begins with a Fun Run/Walk at 8:00 AM at Maidu Park in Roseville. The run/walk is not timed and is between 2.5 K and 5 K. Adults and children can participate and each adult can bring up to two dogs along for the stroll (dogs must be leashed at all times).

Registration fees for the Barktoberfest run are $25 per adult, $15 for children ages 13-17 and all children 12 and under are FREE to participate.

The run should conclude around 11:00 AM and then the Beer Expo begins.

The Barktoberfest Beer Expo is overseen by the Rotary Club of Roseville and the Placer Ultimate Brewing Society (PUBS) and will feature 14 local breweries and two cider houses and include samples for patrons to enjoy.

There will also be several dog-friendly and kid-friendly activities throughout the event, a raffle and food trucks for some tasty treats too!

Admission to the Beer Expo is $30 per adult or an additional $5 for adults that participate in the run. The event is scheduled to conclude at around 3:00 PM in the afternoon.
